Our mission at The Hogue Foundation is to uplift and empower youth from marginalized communities across Westchester County by providing academic support, athletic opportunities, mentorship, and social-emotional guidance. We create safe, encouraging spaces where young people can build confidence, develop essential life skills, and discover their full potential.
We partner with families, schools, and community organizations to bridge gaps in education, recreation, and support — helping youth thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Through enrichment programs, leadership development, and consistent care, The Hogue Foundation is dedicated to strengthening children, families, and the communities they call home.

The Hogue Foundation’s Youth Safe Space provides a supportive after-school environment where students can learn, grow, and reset. The space offers academic support such as homework help, tutoring, and assistance with resumes and LinkedIn profiles, along with guidance around college, careers, and life after high school.
In addition to academic and future planning support, students have access to recreational and creative activities including video games, board games, music, crafts, books, and light refreshments. The space is staffed by supportive adults committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment for all students.
This program is designed for students who need a safe place after school, academic or exam support, help exploring future pathways—including college, jobs, trades, the military, or entrepreneurship—or simply a place to breathe, reset, and connect. Transportation options are available, and students and families are encouraged to check in for more information.
